Well, firstly it would make sense to give you links to software that are good to write scripts with. If anyone uses something different please post it in the comments along with what it does, what operating systems and if free or pay.

This software is good for beginners and pros. It has lists and tabs for different sections. Formats for different types of scripts and is user friendly. It seems they are only having the free version 'online' now. In the beginning you could download the desktop version. :( (PC and Mac)

Word Is The Common and Most Easiest to Use Program that is used for Writing books and Scripts

Notepad Is the DEFAULT Program that Is Commonly Used for because it's Easy and Fast
